Bethesda SC is excited to host a winter futsal league this December!
Futsal comes from Spanish fútbol sala or fútbol de salón. The term is commonly translated as “indoor football.” Futsal is played on a hard surface which creates a very fast moving game. We are pleased to offer futsal as part of the club curriculum. Futsal is an indoor version of soccer that develops a players skill on the ball in tight spaces, speed of play, and is tons of fun!
The BFL will present a league structure, competing against other area clubs, and will be organized by birth year.
Divisions: U8/9 • U10 • U11 • U12 • U13 • U14 • High School (U15-U19)
When: Saturdays & Sundays, Dec-Feb, OFF 12/24, 12/25, 12/30, 12/31
Saturdays: U14-U19
Sundays: U9-U13
Format: 4v4 + GK, no roster max
Times: 1-7pm
Games: 8 game season
Refs: Refs will be certified
Cost: $950/team (Winter Futsal League fees are not part of BSC annual team fees)
Bring: Water, shin guards (required), ball, indoor shoes
Registration: Play with your 2017/2018 team, divide your 2017/2018 team, or create your own team.
