As a consequence of Mud Creek’s closure on Wednesday, Nov 1st for conversion to artificial turf, SSA 10U and older Recreational Program teams that are currently practicing at Mud Creek and would like to continue their practices beyond Nov 1st and through Nov 10th will be assigned practice space at Cobb County’s Fair Oaks Park, located at 1460 West Booth Road Ext. Marietta 30008 (please note that the fields are at the back of a subdivision which can confuse some first-time visitors).

Given the number of teams on the current practice grid at Mud Creek, and the smaller space available at Fair Oaks, the following adjustments are necessary:

1. If you are currently practicing on Mud Creek #2 or #5, you will use field #1 at Fair Oaks. If you are currently practicing on Mud Creek #1 or #3, you will use field #2 at Fair Oaks.

2. All teams currently practicing on a 6pm - 7pm time slot will now finish at 6:45pm.

3. All 12U and younger teams currently practicing on a 7pm - 8pm time slot will now be 6:45pm - 7:30pm.

4.All 14U and older teams currently practicing on a 7pm - 8pm time slot will now be 7:30pm - 8:15pm.

5. All teams currently practicing on an 8pm - 9pm time slot will now start their practice at 8:15pm.

Please note though that since not all teams are planning on continuing to practice through this period, we will not be assigning specific space on each field and would ask that teams just share the field space equally between however many teams are present. Additionally, since this is not one of our regular practice/game venues, we do not have goals on site unfortunately.
